Dog Psychology
Dog Training, everyone has heard of it.
Dog Psychology, not so much.
Somewhere in history, Society’s notion of achieving a well behaved Dog became based on Obedience Positions (sit, down, stay, come, heel, Etc.).
Dog Psychology is something that most people, including many “Dog Trainers”, don’t know about or really understand.
This is why so many people are not finding success in achieving a happy, balanced, fulfilled, and well-behaved Dog.
Dog Psychology focuses on how and why the Dog thinks and behaves the way they do as well as the Fulfillment of the Dog through sufficient Structured Physical Exercise, Mental Stimulation, Enrichment, and Natural Drive Expression.
Biological Fulfillment plays a key role in your dog’s Rehabilitation.
Relationship based Dog Training
My methods focus heavily on the Relationship you have with your Dog.
Balance and Rehabilitation are acquired by using Dog Psychology, ALL 4 Quadrants of Operant Conditioning, and Accountability by instilling consistent Rules, Boundaries, Limitations.
First, we change your perspective of the Dog.
Then, we change your Dog’s perspective of the Relationship.
Ethos
Ethos is a Greek word which translates to “Moral Character”
My mission with Canine Connoisseur is not only to “Train Dogs”, but to Rehabilitate and ultimately Fulfill as many dogs that come my way while also advocating and spreading awareness for Dog Psychology.
Far too many dogs are deemed unfit for Society and then destroyed, due to Behavior Issues stemming from Human Error and our lack of understanding for Dog Psychology.
Through Canine Connoisseur, I aim to educate Owners on the “Why?” behind their Dog’s Behaviors, as well as how to properly Reinforce, Prevent, Manage, Correct, and Extinguish those Behaviors.
